Car Park Access
Free entry 24 hours a day. Sat Nav postcode: KY13 9HN. Situated just off the A911 in Kinnesswood. There are no marked bays — please park considerately and mind the boundary fence so fellow walkers and emergency services have clear passage.
Cyclists & Bikers
There are no bike stands on site — please secure cycles to the boundary fence or keep them with you. Kinnesswood is a popular stop along the Loch Leven Heritage Trail cycling circuit and Fife country lanes.
Scottish Outdoor Access Code
Sheep graze on Bishop Hill slopes year-round. Please keep dogs under close control or on a lead near livestock, and take all litter home or deposit it in the car park bins.

Bishop Hill Summit Ascent
The quintessential Kinnesswood walk. Climbs steadily through woodland and open moorland past Carlin Maggie rock formation to the 461m summit, delivering 360° views across Loch Leven, the Ochil Hills, and Fife.
Portmoak Moss Lowland Peat Bog
A raised bog managed by the Woodland Trust with boardwalk paths. Exceptional biodiversity with dragonflies, heathers, silver birch woodland, and peaceful flat walking.
Michael Bruce Heritage Trail & Village Walk
Meander through historic Kinnesswood village, past the cottage birthplace and museum of 18th-century Scottish poet Michael Bruce, ancient weaver gardens, and village tea room.
